Aftermath Of Air Canada Plane Crash At LaGuardia Airport In New York City

Investigators with the FBI, NTSB, and officials process the scene of a collision between an Air Canada Express CRJ-900 aircraft and a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in Queens, New York City, on March 25, 2026. The wreckage of Air Canada Express flight 8646 remains on the runway. Pilots Mackenzie Gunther and Antoine Forrest are killed, and dozens are injured in the incident. Federal investigators are on the ground examining and searching the scene for evidence on runway 4.
