All-Party Meeting Convenes In Nepal Ahead Of First Parliamentary Session Following Gen-Z Protests

Newly elected members of the House of Representatives in Nepal attend an all-party meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal, on April 1, 2026, ahead of the first parliamentary session following last year's protests. The meeting, called by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, includes lawmakers from the six parties that secured seats in the House of Representatives from the March 5 elections. These parties are the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, Shram Sanskriti Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
