Level 3 Sex Offender Lucien Colon Fatally Shot By NYPD During Execution Of Arrest Warrant At 105 Willis Avenue

NYPD officers work at the scene where police fatally shoot 44-year-old Lucien Colon at 105 Willis Avenue, Bronx, New York, on April 2, 2026. Officers execute a warrant in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx around 7:15 a.m. when Colon allegedly reaches for a weapon. Colon reportedly tells police he has a gun and refuses to comply with commands to step out. After repeated commands to drop the weapon, police open fire, striking Colon.
