Vigil For 7-Month-Old Kaori Patterson-Moore Who Was Fatally Shot In New York City

A vigil with teddy bears, flowers, and candles is held one day after a 7-month-old girl, identified as Kaori Patterson-Moore, was fatally shot in the area of Moore Street and Humboldt Street within the confines of the 90th Precinct in Brooklyn, New York, on April 2, 2026. The suspected gunman, 21-year-old Amuri Greene, will be charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder. He remains in the hospital with a broken leg, and his arraignment is pending. Authorities are searching for a second suspect who drove the moped involved in the incident. Police say they know the identity of the second suspect but have declined to release his name.
