Daily Life In Drass

A view of the town of Drass, Ladakh, India, on June 25, 2014. Drass is the second coldest inhabited place in the world and is situated near the Zoji La pass. It is a significant high-altitude tourist hub at 10,800 feet and is known as 'The Gateway to Ladakh'. The town gained prominence in the summer of 1999 following incursions into Jammu and Kashmir.
