Large Trees Growing On An Abandoned House
Trees grow in abandoned houses, emerging through collapsed roofs and broken windows, in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on March 25, 2026. Organic debris, such as dust and leaves, accumulates in neglected areas, creating soil for seeds carried by the wind or birds. The roots grow into structural cracks in search of stability.
