US Oil Unloaded To Greece For First Time In Four Years

The crude oil tanker EAGLE HELSINKI, which departed from the Port of Houston in the United States, is unloading crude oil at the Motor Oil refinery in Agioi Theodoroi near Corinth, Greece, on April 8, 2026. As the conflict involving Iran affects global oil trade, refiners are seeking alternatives to Middle Eastern crude, and this shipment marks the first time in roughly four years that United States crude has been delivered to Greece.
