33-year-old Man Fatally Shot At 53 West 104 Street Within The Confines Of The 24 Precinct, PSA 6
Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit work at the scene where a 33-year-old man, identified as Rashaun Hopkins, was fatally shot in front of 53 West 104 Street near the Frederick Douglass NYCHA Houses in the Upper West Side, Manhattan, New York, United States, on April 9, 2026. Police responded Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:57 PM and found Hopkins with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
