Brazil Fuel Price
A fuel pump at a gas station in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on April 11, 2026. According to the Agencia Nacional de Petroleo (ANP) in Brazil, diesel is being sold at R$ 7.45 per liter, ordinary gasoline at R$ 6.78 per liter, and ethanol at R$ 4.69 per liter. The price of gasoline at Brazilian gas stations has risen 10% and diesel 20% since the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. Petrobras, the state-owned oil company that refines most of Brazil's fuel, is absorbing additional costs with subsidies by Brazil offering ethanol and diesel options. (Photo by Saulo Dias/NurPhoto)
