Restoration of apartment block damaged by Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia
A nine-storey apartment block is being rebuilt on Motorobudivnykiv Avenue in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, on April 10, 2026. The building is being restored after an incident on April 22, 2025, when two FAB-500 aerial bombs struck the southeastern city, one hitting a residential high-rise and the other an infrastructure facility. The event significantly damaged or partially destroyed the three upper floors of the apartment block, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old woman and injuring 23 others.
