Recovered Dacian gold artifacts exhibited in Bucharest

Willemijn van Haaften, the ambassador of the Netherlands to Romania, speaks during the display event of a ceremonial gold helmet and two gold bracelets at the National History Museum of Romania in Bucharest, Romania, on April 21, 2026. The artifacts, which were stolen in 2025 in the Netherlands, have now been returned to Romania. They date back to around 450 BC and are attributed to the ancient Dacian civilization.
