The Chalet of Catllaras, one of Antoni Gaudí lesser-known works
The Chalet of Catllaras, one of Antoni Gaudi's lesser-known works, is located in the Catalan municipality of La Pobla de Lillet, Spain, on April 27, 2026. Built between 1901 and 1903 to house engineers of the local coal mines, the building was later converted into a holiday camp and then abandoned. During restoration work, studies confirmed in February 2026 that the work belonged to the Catalan modernist architect. The Chalet of Catllaras is now almost completely renovated, with different uses being considered, coinciding with the Gaudi Year celebrated in Barcelona as a tribute to the centenary of his death.
