Solidarity Protest With The Global Sumud Flotilla In Krakow
Palestinian flags are displayed during a pro-Palestinian protest in solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla in the Main Market Square in Krakow, Poland, on April 30, 2026. According to organizers and Israeli media, Israeli forces intercept boats carrying humanitarian aid from the Global Sumud Flotilla near Crete. Twenty-two boats carrying 175 people from 36 boats are intercepted using drones, communication jammers, and armed teams. Those detained are held for several hours. Polish researcher Dr. Magdalena Gorska is among those detained. Israeli forces hand over the detainees to Greek authorities, except for two individuals. Organizers emphasize that actions in international waters violate international law. (Photo by Klaudia Radecka/NurPhoto)
