Haors Farmers Tragedy
Farmers dry their paddy in the Haor areas, harvested from a field inundated by a flash flood in Kalmakanda, Netrokona, Bangladesh, on May 5, 2026. Heavy rainfall between April 26 and May 2 has submerged 46,730 hectares, or 10.27 percent of the total Haor land.
