Protest For Amhara People Of Ethiopia In Brussels
Protest with flags and banners of people from Ethiopia against the war and persecution of Amhara people, in front of the European Commission Headquarters building at Schuman Roundabout in Brussels. Ethiopian people demonstrated against the ethnic violence on Amhara people in Ethiopia. According to the protesters and their banners Amhara people sustained multiple acts of violence including torture, sexual violence, war crimes, human rights violation and drone strikes leading to death and ethnic cleansing. Amhara are a Semitic-speaking ethnic group indigenous to Ethiopia inhabiting parts of the northwest Highlands of Ethiopia, particularly the Amhara Region.
