Selected Workers Protest In Kathmandu Over Israel Employment Process Delays

Workers eligible for the Israel employment process protest in Kathmandu, Nepal, on May 19, 2026, against delays and uncertainty. The selected youths have been waiting for the Israel employment process for the past two years and express concerns about perceived injustice due to the actions of the government and relevant bodies. The protesters claim that although the Department of Foreign Employment has assured them that the Israel employment process will open, no official information has been released. They state that officials have promised that candidates not selected in the lottery held in BS 2081 will be automatically included in the new quota, leading thousands of youths to wait for an extended period.
