European Union Ministers of Trade are scheduled to meet on May 22, 2026, to exchange views on economic security in light of the impact of the Middle East conflict on trade. They will also follow up on the 14th World Trade Organization ministerial conference (MC14) and discuss WTO reform. Additionally, ministers will review the state of play of ongoing trade negotiations, including those with Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates.
