Nag Panchami or Snake Day Festival celebrated in Nepal

Nepalese devotees offering oil lamps towards Nag or Sanke God at Taudaha Lake, Kirtipur on August 7, 2016. On this day devotees perform traditional worship of snakes or serpents to ward evil spirits observed by Hindus throughout Nepal and India.Nag Panchami is the day in which Snakes are worshiped Nepal as well as in India and Hindu’s Countries. Nags means Snakes and Panchami means the fifth day after no-moon day. This festival is celebrated with faith and passions.
