23-year-old Woman Fatally Shot At 2158 Aqueduct Avenue East In Bronx New York City

NYPD officers work the scene at 2158 Aqueduct Avenue East where a 23-year-old woman identified as Reyna Caceres was fatally shot in the eye, in the Bronx, New York, United States, on May 28, 2026. On Thursday, May 28, 2026, at approximately 12:10 am, police respond to a 911 call of an assault in front of 2158 Aqueduct Avenue, within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observe 23-year-old Reyna Caceres with a gunshot wound to the left eye. EMS responds and transports Caceres to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she is pronounced dead.
