Micromoon - Blue Moon

A rare ''Blue Micromoon'' is visible through vegetation and urban streetlights, with scattered clouds occasionally drifting across the moon, forming various patterns in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on May 31, 2026. This is the second full moon of May, coinciding with a micromoon, as the moon is at its farthest point from Earth in its orbit for the year. As a result, the moon appears slightly smaller and dimmer than the average full moon.
