Habibie Festival 2016

In order to commemorate the anniversary of BJ HABIBIE to 80 this year, Habibie Festival celebrate his role and contribution as an icon in Science and Knowledge in Indonesia at National Indonesia Museum - Jakarta. BJ HABIBIE was a national figure in the field of science and technology. His life story has inspired millions of people around the world. The story of an extraordinary child who are trying so hard to become an aeronautical engineer who later menapakkan his way up to the Minister of Research and Technology in the field for 20 years. BJ HABIBIE eventually became President of all three and has now become a figure of national figure, Father of the Nation, and mentor to the science and technology community. BJ Habibie has been the catalyst for the development of Indonesia in the field of science and technology, and in some sectors such as Aerospace, Telecommunications, and Strategic Industries, puts Indonesia one level higher than its neighboring countries in ASEAN. With the launch of N250 - Ghatotkacha on August 10, 1995, BJ Habibie to prove that Indonesia is able to develop independently Aerospace Industries.
