Massive Russian attack damages Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv
The Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra shows damage after a fire on the roof in Kyiv, Ukraine, on June 15, 2026. The fire occurred following a large-scale military operation involving missiles and drones. Four people were killed, and 28 were injured, including children and a pregnant woman. At least 140,000 consumers were left without electricity due to damage to power grids. Residential buildings, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, the Mystetskyi Arsenal Museum Complex, the Dovzhenko Film Studio, and the building of the High Anti-Corruption Court sustained damage.
