Ram Fighting Contest In Indonesia

Rams wait for their turn to compete in a fighting contest held as part of the Indo Livestock 2026 Expo & Forum in Banten, Indonesia, on June 17, 2026. Traditional ram fighting, locally known as Seni Ketangkasan Domba Garut, originates from West Java, Indonesia. In these competitions, well-cared-for rams clash with one another, while their owners compete for cash prizes and rewards such as motorcycles and electronic goods. The event features around 600 rams from various regions across Indonesia competing in livestock quality assessments and agility performances, while providing breeders with a platform to showcase the results of their breeding programs.
