A washed-away portion of a parallel bridge at Dudhiya village on the outskirts of Siliguri, India, on July 19, 2026. The bridge was washed away for the second time due to heavy rains in the surrounding hills the previous night. The parallel connectivity bridge was constructed for the Siliguri-Mirik route and also connects the Darjeeling hills after the original bridge was washed away due to heavy rain and flash floods in the area on October 4, 2025.
