Sithi Nakha Celebrated
A little girl plays as her mother lines up to offer ritual prayer in the premises of Bagh Bhairab Temple in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal, on June 20, 2026. The word ''Sithi'' comes from the Sanskrit word ''Shashthi,'' meaning sixth, and ''Nakha,'' which means festival. The day of Sithi Nakha is also considered the last day to perform ''Dugu Puja.''
