First National General Convention Of Balen Affiliated Party- RSP Starts In Nepal

Nepali Prime Minister Balendra Shah, also known as Balen, and former Home Minister and President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, ring bells, the party's election symbol, during the opening ceremony of the first general convention of the party in Chitwan, Nepal, on June 21, 2026. Approximately 4,211 delegates from across the country have gathered in Chitwan to elect the party's new leadership. The convention is set to choose a 158-member Central Committee, including seven provincial committee chairs as ex-officio members, and 19 office-bearers, including the party president.
