A reenactment of the events following the Battle of Karbala takes place in the Al-Akaika district of Suq Al-Shuyukh, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq, on June 27, 2026. The ceremony, coinciding with the eleventh day of the month of Muharram, is attended by a large number of mourners and visitors.
