Restoration Work In The Campidoglio Has Been Completed.

Restoration of the facades of the Capitoline Palaces and maintenance of the paving of Piazza del Campidoglio, overseen by the Capitoline Superintendency and funded by the PNRR - Caput Mundi program, are completed in Rome, Italy, on June 29, 2026. The project, due to its complexity, was executed in multiple phases: the first phase, which began in November 2024, involved the facades of Palazzo dei Conservatori and Palazzo Nuovo and concluded in October 2025; the second phase, completed in June 2026, involved the restoration of the facade of Palazzo Senatorio and maintenance of the paving of the square.
