Russian forces strike Zaporizhzhia with two guided bombs
A fire engine and emergency responders are at the site of cleanup operations in Vyshneve, Kyiv region, Ukraine, on July 6, 2026. Russian forces conduct a large-scale military operation on the city and the surrounding region using ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones. Dozens of houses on five streets are destroyed, while warehouses and businesses are damaged. More than 600 local residents are evacuated due to the risk posed by unexploded ordnance.
