Forest fire destroyed more than 45.000 acres near the Bulgarian-Turkish border

fishermen are catching fish while the fire is coming near the village of Izvorovo, Harmanli, Bulgaria. Forest fire destroyed more than 45 000 acres between the villages of Izvorovo, Mladinovo and Dripchevo, which are located some 20 kilometres from the Bulgarian-Turkish border near Kapitan Andreevo border crossing point and some 270 kilometres from the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. Now the fire is limited, but on place are working more than 300 people, firefighters, military, volunteers and the people from the villages.
