The 'Novillo de Bombas' run, held in honor of the 36th anniversary of the cantonization of Mira, Carchi, in northern Ecuador on 20 August 2016. The 'bombas', or hairpiece horn rags, are built out of rags drenched in fodder, and leaf-stalk. This fighting bull runs through the principal plaza of Mira in front of thousands of spectators.
