Russian missile hits underground passage near Lukianivska metro station in Kyiv

Pedestrians cross Yuriia Illienka Street near the Lukianivska metro station in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, Ukraine, on July 19, 2026, following a large-scale overnight missile attack. The Russian army launched a large-scale attack on the capital with ballistic missiles. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, an 89-year-old woman was killed and 15 people were injured.
