Initial batches of cattle herds arrive in Dhaka city

Cattle traders in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on September 6, 2016. In light of the upcoming Eid Ul Azha, most of the cattle traders across the country flocked to the capital city with their herds of cattle by various transportation methods. They included by road and by river, arriving by trawlers and boats. The prime cattle and buffaloes all come mainly from the northern region. Their destinations vary from Gabtoli to Aftabnagar and all the other major Qurbani makeshift huts across the Dhaka city. (Photo by Ahmed Salahuddin/NurPhoto)
