Street portraits of Africans living in Kipseli area, Athens city center. Thousands immigrants from Africa have arrived in Greece the last 10 years mainly from Nigeria, Sudan, Senegal, Congo, Ghana, Guinea, Gambia, Cameroon, Somalia. The majority comes through Instabul, Turkey, in a semi-legal state. People are willing to stay in Athens, try to have a small business, send their kids to school. Usually they have a community and live in areas where Africans seem to be the plurality. Many have depart since 2015 since finding a job is hard while some are into smuggling.
