Starvation Death In India

In this picture, taken on October 24,2016,A photograph of Dharmendra,who died of starvation,placed in a cupboard,in his house , in Dharauti village , some 42 kms from Allahabad. A 28 years old Dalit man Dharmendra allegedly died of hunger on sunday morning. His wife Usha Devi,handicapped woman, is too fighting for life without a morsel of food in their home. The family lost their kids due to malnutrition a year back . The family survived on food provided by the villagers, as they did not have BPL (Below Poverty Line) and ration cards to get food grain from fair price shop. (Photo by Ritesh Shukla/NurPhoto)
