Indian hindu devotees return after a holy dip at Sangam

Smoke from crackers has chocked the air and also affected visibility. Data from the central pollution monitering agency showed that concentrations of particulate matter was as much as 14 times the safe limit. These particles can cause respiatory diseasees if one is subjected to prolonged exposure to unsafe levels. Allahabad, kanpur and Lucknow also recorded severe pollution.
