The family and locals allege that Sofi was poisoned and tortured by Indian government forces. A claim forces refute and said the boy had consumed poison on his own. Nearly 100 civilians have been killed and over 15000 Injured during the fierce protests over the killing of a young rebel commander Burhan Wani as an ongoing unrest in Indian controlled Kashmir enters its 83rd day.
