Policemen and firefighters demonstrate in Toulouse
Between 200 and 300 police members, firefighters took part to a march to ask for more consideration, more means for police. After four policemen were petrol-bombed, and despite the €250Millions plan annouced by Bernard Cazeneuve, French Minister of the Interieur, angry policemen took again to the streets to demand more firearms, more leniency for them, a less strict legitimate defence regime and the end of the 'politique du chiffre' ie 'Politics based only on numbers'.
