79th monthly ceremony commemorating the victims of the Smolensk in Warsaw
A photo of President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria, outside the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, on the eve of the Polish Independence Day 2016, as Beata Szydlo, the Polish PM, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the Chairman of PIS (Law and Justice political party), members of the Polish government, and hundreds of people, participated in the 79th monthly ceremony commemorating the victims of the Smolensk plane crash. The event started with a mass in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, in the intentions of President Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria. After the mass, the March of Remembrance took place, passing in front of the Presidential Palace, before PIS politicians laid flowers at the monument of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
