Ferreira Gullar dies at age 86 in Rio de Janeiro

Ferreira Gullar, one of the greatest names in Brazilian literature, died at the age of 86 at the Copa Dor Hospital in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The body will be veiled in the National Library and the Brazilian Academy of Letters, and will later be buried in the São João Batista Cemetery, in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.
