Sambisari Temple in Yogyakarta

Visitors visit Sambisari Temple, in Kalasan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on December 15, 2016. Sambisari is a hindu temple (Shiva) in Purwomartani, Kalasan, Yogyakarta. This temple was built in the 9th century during the reign of Rakai Garung in the days of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom. This temple was discovered by a farmer in 1966 and restored in 1986 by the Department of Ancient. This temple area reaches 50 meters x 48 meters.
