Museum of Tomorrow undergoes renovation 1 year after inauguration

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, December 19, 2016: The Museum of Tomorrow, in the port area of Rio de Janeiro, was inaugurated only a year ago and has already needed reforms in the water mirror. The blanket that waterproofed a part of the water mirror presented problems and is being replaced. In this first year of operation, the Brazilian science museum received more than 1.3 million visitors. The place stands out in the landscape for its architectural beauty, with design by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. (Photo by Luiz Souza/NurPhoto)
