The government of Mayor Eduardo Paes comes to an end on December 31, 2016 and one of his main promises of election campaign has not been fulfilled. He had guaranteed that by the end of 2016 the entire fleet of municipal public transportation buses would have air-conditioned. The year ends, and more than 30% of the fleet is not air-conditioned.
