BASARNAS - Indonesian Search and Rescue

Mr. Andreas helmman ship of BASARNAS ship in Jakarta on 3 January 2016 giving coordination before the mission in the morning in finding the missing person from the burnt ship that killed 22 people. BASARNAS (Badan SAR Nasional) is Indonesian SAR organization that direclty report to The President of Republic of Indonesia. It was founded in 1955 as part of Indonesian responsibility in taking care of it's own Aviation and Maritime Accident, at first the organization is under Ministry of Transportation, then in 2007 the organization becoming independent under direct supervisor from President of Republic of Indonesia. Since it's independence BASARNAS have several achievement in the search and rescue mission such as : Air Asia Plane Crash, Evacuation of Aceh Earth Quake, and many more.
