Migrant Cambodians working in Thailand are transferred to the border by Immigration Police before they return home during a mass exodus, Aranyaprathet Town Centre, Aranyaprathet/Poipet, Thailand. Fearing a crackdown on illegal immigration from the Thai military, over 120,000 Cambodian migrants are reported to have crossed the border and returned to Cambodia in one week. Estimates suggest that at least 150,000 legal and illegal migrants from Cambodia were working in Thailand before the exodus, typically in the construction and service industries. The Thai Foreign Affairs Ministry have rejected claims that illegal immigrants have been threatened or mistreated. - Photo: Gavin Gough/NurPhoto
