Dressing of Pope Celestine V

(EDITOR'S NOTE: File photo) A moment of dressing of Pope Celestine V, also known as Pope of the great refusal, in L'Aquila, on May 5, 2013. - The new mask of Celestine V is silver and reproduces the exact features of the face of the Saint and it was made after a reconnaissance on the remains, which took place at the hands of experts. The old mask was of wax, and had the appearance of Cardinal Carlo Confalonieri, from March 27, 1941 al 22 February 1950 Archbishop of L'Aquila. Pope Saint Celestine V was the last pope before Pope Benedict XVI to retire. (Photo by Manuel Romano/NurPhoto)
