Internet in Cuba: slow and expensive but more and more massive

The Internet in Cuba is problematic, expensive and controlled by the government. Despite the recent infiltration of Wi-Fi networks in the Caribbean nation, only 5% of the Cuban people can access the Internet. Since technological backwardness has always made it difficult, the connection has been restricted to certain professions: officials, military, doctors, engineers, artists, academics, journalists and tourists.
