The Christchurch Lantern Festival celebrate the Year of the Rooster in Hagley Park North, Christchurch, New Zealand, Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017. The Lantern Festival has been part of the Chinese New Year celebrations since the Han Dynasty (206BC - 221AD).
