Ireland: Thousands Strike 4 Repeal in Dublin

Hundreds of people, mainly members of the Strike 4 Repeal campaign, gathered on O'Connel Bridge in Central Dublin, then took the streets of Dublin protesting outside a number of Government Departments, to seek a referendum on repealing the eighth amendment. The Amendment to the 1937 Constitution, which was inserted in a referendum in 1983, asserts that the right to life of an unborn child is equal to that of its mother.
