Six years after 3.11 disaster in Fukushima
A destroyed office is still left behind in front of Namie train station in Fukushima prefecture at 10 March 2017. Six years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami disaster on 11 March 2011. Japanese National Police Agency report confirmed 15,893 deaths and 2,556 people missing across twenty prefectures. And 123,618 people are still living in temporary housing away from their home now. The Japanese government plans to lift evacuation orders in heavily contaminated areas around Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant complex by the end of March 2017, except some parts of the high radioactive area.
